Oort nominated to the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, an ecosystem of ISVs and MSSPS focused on combatting increasing global cybersecurity threats.
BOSTON, MA - Mar. 15, 2023 - Oort, provider of identity-centric enterprise security, today joins the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA).
MISA is an ecosystem of independent software vendors and managed security service providers that have integrated their solutions with Microsoft’s security technology to better defend against a world of increasing cyber threats. MISA’s mission is to provide intelligent security solutions for our shared customers by extending across the security ecosystem to protect against cyberthreats.
Participation in MISA is nomination based, with Microsoft nominating partners who are building innovative security solutions across various sectors of the cybersecurity field. Each member contributes their distinctive knowledge and proficiency, with Oort bringing a unique perspective on identity security.

Oort was nominated as a new member for their new integration with Microsoft Intune. Oort and Intune work together to enable BYOD through MAM policies and Azure AD Conditional Access. Oort identifies users who are still logging in from unmanaged devices, making it possible to identify and prevent unmanaged device access that do not comply with organizational policies and requirements. With this new integration, organizations can take a more proactive approach and help security teams with their BYOD program by better understanding access from unmanaged devices.
